It’s important to remember to look after yourself and make some time and space for rebalancing in order to live our best lives and be the best version of ourselves.

It’s important to remember to look after yourself and make some time and space for rebalancing in order to live our best lives and be the best version of ourselves.

Too often we are running around, getting stressed and doing too much. One thing we have found out during quarantine is that taking things more slowly and doing less is important to our mental health and improved output.

We can only shine when we take care of our mind, body and soul.

Habit 5 reminds us about taking care to nourish ourselves, slow down, keep the body fit and healthy and think good things. Sleep is so important and there is a section on getting good sleep and tips around how to have a great nap. I nap almost every day in the afternoon and it gives me more energy, stamina and power throughout the day and I last longer into the evening.

This chapter covers eating well, keeping your nutrition well balanced and keeping your emotional life healthy and strong. There are tips on how to say no and creating a lifestyle that supports your creative self.

Having a supportive community is hugely important in living a successful creative life and this chapter covers how to attract positive people around you.

This chapter also looks at how to create the perfect creative space and have an environment that makes you want to be inspired and creative.
