Well this has been a thrilling week for me. The launch of my new book out into the world.
It looks unlike anything else and has wonderful pull out bits that you have to write on and get involved with..
The designers took the visual cues from car manuals, mind maps,1960s diagraphics and airport signage to create a fold-out, open out, flip flapping extravaganza (their words – not mine). And they have done a rather good job.
It folds, it flaps, it expands when you’re not expecting it.
There are some fab mind maps to get you on the road to happiness…
The designers call this the ‘deeply disturbing’ chart. They said that some of them have found out that they are distinctly ‘low vibration’ – so they’d better get their groove on and read the book…
There are customisable checklists if you get stuck along the way….
And ways to affirm, and then expand yourself.. ..Mmmm….
I think the design leads you to feel that this happiness thing is quite simple. Just follow the step-by-step manual instructions, and away you go. And it is simple in a way.
Happiness is a feeling. It’s available. It’s there to access. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, how much stuff you have, if you have the car/house/dog/boyfriend/girlfriend. It’s simply a point of view in life and an approach.
I am on a mission to bring happiness in as a measure and insist that we get it on the agenda for schools, for communities, for new policies and as part of a new ethos for living. We all could do with a little more happiness in our life. Giving it out, talking about, dropping the gossip and getting kinder.
Loving YOU today.
